Co-Motion: Emerging Twin Cities Dance Artists Make a Scene

Fatigued by the Fringe fanatics or just looking for an opportunity to see fresh work from emerging choreographers? Take a trip to downtown St. Paul for this showcase featuring work by Erinn Liebhard, Erica Pinigis, Jessica Briggs, Natalie Bucey, Heather Parker, and Lucy Rahn, a group of friends committed to sharing the stage and supporting each other's art. The works on the program sound diverse—ranging from spirited jazz influence to ringing social critiques—and the effort is entirely based on a DIY work ethic (self-funded and self-produced), not a bad idea in these hard times. For tickets, email co-Motion@live.com or visit www.co-motiondance.org.
