A Night in the Box

With A Night in the Box's second Afternoon Records release, Write a Letter, it seems they are taking their blues-charged, searing-rock side even further, alongside their initial old-timey, yet still very modern, bluegrass-influenced folk. So isn't it fitting that they have a takeover of the 7th St. Entry planned for the new record's introduction with not one, but two shows? Sunday nights can be a little rough on the 9-5 set, but even you guys can still take in the glory of their live show and make your bedtime with the all-ages populace, with matinee-only opening sets by Now, Now Every Children's pretty indie rock and the Wars of 1812, while the weekend warrior night owls can hit up the late show and enjoy the countrified roadhouse rock of Bitch N' Brown and local pop oddballs Plastic Chord alongside the local powerhouse that A Night in the Box genuinely is. So just give in, and you can thank me later. All ages.
