Nomad Anniversary Party

By Jessica Armbruster

Published on March 12, 2008

It was only three years ago that the Nomad World Pub filled the location formerly known as Five Corners Saloon. Since opening its doors, the friendly West Bank pub has hosted an impressive list of musical acts, including both local and national artists. Perhaps even more impressive, many of those shows admirably stay within the $5 to $10 cover charge range. The Nomad also has a pretty sweet outdoor seating area, as well as hosting a weekly Monday night 2-for-1 happy hour and pub quiz with local wordsmith, Dessa. This Friday, the Nomad celebrates making it through the terrible twos with performances by Utah's Band of Annuals and Minnesota's own Dance Band. If their "Mississippi" isn't on your list of favorite Minnesota-themed anthems yet, it will be soon. 21+.
