The Stones

By Quinton Skinner

Stefo Nantsou and Tom Lycos have been performing their two-man show for more than 10 years, from their native Australia to points around the globe, and the reason for its staying power are as simple as the universal young-male proclivity for stupid behavior. Nantsou and Lycos don guitars to tell a simple but powerful story of two young guys who chuck rocks from a freeway overpass, in the process killing an unsuspecting driver. It's a powerful notion, depicting the gray intersection where a kid's folly and the grim reaper meet one another, and in the process the audience itself is asked to render judgment. This show is aimed at a teen audience, though it should resonate with anyone with wince-inducing memories of long-past indiscretion.
Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.; Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 4 p.m. Starts: Feb. 14. Continues through March 9, 2008
