Had the cranky Brit visited Buenos Aires, he would have been less frustrated; it was there that, according to one story, the steamy tango dance was invented to give humble citizens all the pleasures of sex with none of the expense (and in more elegant positions). Twin Citians can find out what the fuss is about when the Argentine Estampas Porteñas group presents Tango Fire, a whirlwind history lesson of tango styles. Everything from traditional ballroom milonga to roaring 1920s glamour to contemporary acrobatic varieties are showcased by the 10 dancers and quartet of musicians in this sizzling troupe, which is fresh off a three-week run in New York. It's a perfectly hot way to spend a chilly winter night.
