F1rst Wrestling Presents: Anarchy Rules!

By Jessica Armbruster

Published on January 23, 2008

It's been awhile since First Avenue hosted one of its pro-wrestling extravaganzas. This Friday the space will cater yet again to your need to watch people casually throwing each other about the way news broadcasters toss out "witty" banter. Though one might suspect that the rules of "anarchy" involve choreographed fight scenes and quasi-operatic storylines, each battle promises to be as action-packed as things tend to get when enormous muscle men don spandex. Though there will be numerous raging fists, my heart belongs to the "Tag Team Mayhem" battle, featuring brothers Shawn (of WWE fame) and Arya Daivari vs. the Nortstar Express (buddies Darin Corbin and Ryan Cruz). Other matches include the main attraction, 6% Body Fat Rob James vs. Suntan Superman Cody O'Neill, and ladies represent with TNA Knockout ODB vs. Ann Brookstone. 18+; all ages with parent.
