Kathleen Madigan
Published on September 19, 2007
In show-biz parlance, comedian Kathleen Madigan is a performer's performer. A favorite of fellow comics Jay Leno and Gary Shandling as well as broadcaster Bob Costas, the St. Louis native has established herself as one of the top standup comedians. She just wrapped up a stint as a judge for the fifth season of Last Comic Standing. She was formerly a contestant on that series. Now she's back on the road, anxious to tell new jokes. "I'm so sick of every moron (saying), 'If you want to build a border wall and you kick all the Mexicans out, who's gonna build the wall?' Well, I think if you want a wall built, moron, you should call the Chinese. I don't know if you've noticed, but their wall is so awesome you can see it from outer space. Their wall is actually called 'great.' I don't need Mexicans to build a wall."
