Dinkytown finally has a block party to call its own. While the season for cordoned-off street celebrations is drawing to a close, you can hardly blame the DTers for waiting till their matriculating residents come back from summer vacay. For the teeming streets of amped-up undergrads, there's the Blarney's Beer Garden, the Varsity Bike Shop's half-pipe stunt cyclists, stoner food from Cereal World, and music from One for the Team and A Night in the Box. For the older Dinkytown crowd, there's guitar giveaways from the Podium, Greek food from Cafe 421, music from Spider John Koerner & Tony GloverÂand the Blarney's Beer Garden.
